Volunteer Information

General Information for Volunteers

The NHS Band Boosters rely heavily on the participation of band members’ parents and guardians. The need for parent volunteers is especially heavy during the marching band season (August-October), when parents are called upon to chaperone summer rehearsals, football games, and competitions. In addition to chaperoning responsibilities, we need help with the sideline equipment (pit), uniforms, first aid, and other fundraisers throughout the year. Without your commitment, we cannot support the band program in the many meaningful ways that are essential to the success of the program: attending monthly band booster meetings, chaperoning, volunteering at events and concerts, and fundraising!
