We hope you’re enjoying a fun and restful summer! We’re counting down the days to an exciting new season, and we can’t wait to kick off our 2025 journey together. Please read carefully below and take action on each item so we’re all ready to go!
🩺 Medical Physical Form – Due by July 8
All students must have a completed physical form on file before the first rehearsal.

📅 Required Summer Rehearsals
All rehearsals are mandatory for all members. Students should:

Bring a large water jug (32 oz or more…1 gallon jug is recommended)

Wear athletic shoes (no Crocs, Converse, or Vans-they will not provide proper support)

Dress in shorts and a t-shirt

Bring and apply sunscreen and wear a hat
Schedule:

July 8–10: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

July 14–17: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (bring lunch; no off-campus lunch)

July 21–24: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (supper provided)
👟 Uniform Fittings (June 30 – July 24)
All brass, woodwind, and percussion students must sign up for a 15-minute uniform fitting:

✅ Wear light shorts and a t-shirt to have on under your uniform
🧦 Bring or wear athletic socks (for marching shoes)

🏫 Northwestern Orientation for Band Students
Band students have been assigned a specific orientation session:

This replaces the school’s published times. Students may not miss rehearsal for orientation.

Mandatory meeting for all parents.

We’re excited to get started! Students should begin practicing their music NOW so we are all ready to hit the ground running when July rehearsals begin. Music is password protected and for band families only.
