Congratulations to the members of the Symphonic Band for their outstanding performance at the SCBDA Concert Performance Assessment yesterday! The band received an overall superior rating, and we have now earned a superior rating at concert assessment every year since this opportunity became available in 2002! We are incredibly proud of the work these students have put in to overcome the challenges of the last two years, and we are excited to see what we will achieve in the future.
Upcoming Dates:
- Saturday, March 19 – NHS Winterguard performance, CWEA Championships at Byrnes High School
- This is the NHS Winterguard’s final performance of the year! They have been working hard this semester and have made remarkable progress. I know they would love to have supporters in the stands to cheer them on, so I highly encourage you to attend this show!

- Wednesday, March 23, 3:50-5:00 pm – Williamsburg Trip rehearsal, 3:50-5:00 pm in the band room.
- March 30, April 4, and April 6, 3:50-5:00pm. All rehearsals are mandatory for all students who are registered for this trip.
- Monday, April 4, 7:30 pm – mandatory meeting for all travelers and parents

Additional announcements:
- We have confirmed that the band will NOT participate in the commencement ceremony on Friday, May 27. Students will not be required to attend this event.
