      All families are asked to work a shift on this day to help ensure this event runs smoothly. Be on the lookout for shift signups.

ONLY WATER IN THE BAND SECTION
Please help us maintain this standard at football games

  • Students should bring their water jugs into the stands at football games.
  • Students may only drink water in the band section at football games.
  • Students may enjoy food and drinks outside the band section (other areas of the stands or in the band parking lot area) during third quarter break.
  • Parents may provide concessions for their child during third quarter break (just not in the band area).
  • Please do not deliver snacks, drinks, food to your child in the band section…wait until the students are on their third quarter break.
  • Once we return to the band section after third quarter break, only water is allowed in the band section.

GRADED ASSIGNMENT DUE THIS FRIDAY 9/12

Record a video of yourself performing all of Part 1.
Submit through the assignment in Canvas by Friday.

NEW YORK TRIP – YOU CAN BE ADDED

Several families have asked if they can be added to the New York trip so we reached out to Bob Rogers Travel and have been given permission to allow more families to register for the trip.

If you would like to add your child and any other family members to the trip, follow the steps below provided by Bob Rogers Travel.

  1. Click on the registration link:

  2. Follow the steps from the registration form to register. Reserve your spot by entering all information requested in RED and enter a payment method. *A parent must register their child. We will email you along the way – messages may go to spam. Please check your spam folder.
  3. Complete all the steps (personal & billing information) for your spot to be confirmed (Partial registrations will cause your trip to be cancelled)

Each family is asked to volunteer for at least two events

  • Fri 9/12 – Football Game vs. South Pointe
    Call Time 6:00pm at District 3 Stadium

Next Week’s Events:

  • Tues 9/16 – Rehearsal until 6:30pm

    • Evening Call Time 6:00pm (Wear 2025 band shirt, athletic shorts, LONG black socks, marching shoes, marching gloves…we will put on uniforms at the stadium)
    • Performances begin at 7:00pm, Admission is Free…bring family and friends to see the very first presentation of Rewrite The Stars
