From the Booster President:

  • Music in the Park volunteers NEEDED THIS FRIDAY – We would love to have about 5-6 more volunteers for this Friday’s event. Last Friday went off without a hitch. Check out the SIGN-UP GENIUS, and if you are available, sign up to lend a hand.
  • Awards Night is May 11. Following past years’ traditions, we will enjoy some light food/drinks in the band room before the award presentations take place in the gym. 8th grade/freshman/sophomore families sign-up to bring in food/drink items, junior families sign-up to help clean up after the awards, and seniors get to sit back and enjoy. THIS SIGN-UP GENIUS has everything the membership committee needs to make the night spectacular.
  • Autobell Gift Card Fundraiser – Envelopes due Monday, May 1
  • Memory books are now for sale! They will arrive in mid-May. The cost per book is $40. Send in, by May 11, a check payable to NHS Band Boosters or cash to reserve your book. If your student has BCPs, you can use those, too.
  • The next parent meeting will be SATURDAY, April 29, at 3:00 in the band room. It will be held with the spring band camp the students will attend. Voting for next year’s executive board will take place at this meeting. The ballot is as follows:
    • President: Patrick Crane
    • Vice President: Mario Robinson
    • Treasurer: Kyle King
    • Junior Treasurer: Michelle Gaissert
    • Secretary: Christina Pipgras
  • Click HERE to read through the March 27th meeting minutes for approval at our April 29 parent

Monthly Band Fee Payments:

Several students still have outstanding balances for the 2022 marching band fees. You can pay with cash, check, or money order, place it in an envelope with your child’s name and the payment, and then have your child drop it by the band office. You can also deduct it from your child’s BCP account by filling out the form HERE. Another option is to pay it electronically directly to the school by clicking HERE. These fees must be paid as soon as possible as they will impact students’ participation in other events, such as prom. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
