Announcements – Week of 4/12/2023

I hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing break last week and is ready for the last few weeks of the school year. Please read through this update carefully. It includes important information about the Come See Me Parade, fundraising opportunities, marching band physicals, and additional important dates and events for all students and their families.

Come See Me Parade Information:

Attendance at the Come See Me Parade on Thursday, April 13, is required for ALL 2nd-semester band students.  Call time will be 5:30 at the Agape Church parking lot on Oakland Avenue across the street from the Roasting Company.  The street address is 135 S Oakland Ave.  Parents dropping off students should plan to drop them off from Charlotte Avenue.  Students that drive should park in the parking deck at the corner of Elizabeth Lane & Main Street.  Click HERE for a map of the parade route showing the drop-off location.  Please note the parade ends at the intersection of Main Street & Elizabeth Lane, but we will disband and load equipment in the parking lot between Elizabeth Lane and Orange Street directly across from the new school district central office.  The parade starts at 6:30 pm, and we should be finished around 7:15.  Students must wear a purple shirts, socks, and sneakers.

Really sad to miss this big event but have two other grand dudes in their band concert at Dutchman Creek Middle School—same exact time.

Can't wait!
