I hope this message finds every one doing well and are excited about turning over the calendar to start a new month. Please be sure to note the dates for the performances coming up later this month and be sure to sign up for a work assignment for WGI Charlotte Regional Championships we are hosting on the 25th. This event is similar to the Olde English Festival of Bands, but instead of the whole band performing, it is just the color guard. There will be 60 groups performing from across the southeast for this show, so we need to be sure we have a strong team of volunteers lined up for the show to run smoothly and to help our guests feel welcome. Also, make plans to attend the parent meeting Monday evening as we discuss all of the events coming up throughout the month.

Hawaii 2024 Information Meetings:
Students, families, and other individuals may start signing up for the Hawaii trip using the app provided at the informational meetings. If you don’t have the handout from the meetings we will have all the information posted on the website soon.
Coffee & Popcorn Fundraiser:
Thank you for the wonderful response to this fundraising event. We raised over $2,250.00 for the booster club and the student BCP accounts. The product will take about two weeks to arrive and I will send out a notice once we have a definite date.

Monthly Band Fee Payments:
Remember to make your monthly band fee payment. You can pay with cash, check, or money order, place it in an envelope with your child’s name and the payment, and then have your child drop it by the band office. You can also deduct it from your child’s BCP account by filling out the form HERE. Another option is to pay it electronically directly to the school by clicking HERE.
