We want to remind you that even though we may not be out performing regularly at this time, we are still very busy as we transition to our indoor activities for the remainder of the school year. Please stay in touch by attending meetings, reading through the weekly updates, and reaching out to us if there are questions or concerns. Information for this week includes:
The football game scheduled for Friday has been moved to Saturday at 2:00 pm. Since this is such short notice, this will not be a mandatory performance, as I know some families were planning to be out of town, may have activities planned for the day, or students may be scheduled to work. However, if a student is available to attend, I ask that every effort be made to be in attendance, as we have an obligation to support the school. We will not wear uniforms, so plan to wear something purple and dress for the weather.
Fruit Sale:
Cash sales for the fruit fundraising project have ended, and all orders should now be turned in to the band room. Please be sure to contact Mr. Yost immediately if you still have any order forms or money that need to be submitted. If you, or family members and friends, would like to place an order electronically, those sales will continue through tomorrow, Thursday, November 10. Jackson Shaw has been selected to participate in the 2022 Furman University Honor Band Symposium on November 18-19 on the Furman University campus. Jackson was one of only 145 students chosen to attend.

Jazz Band Meeting
The first jazz band rehearsal will be after school Thursday from 4:00 to 5:15.
Indoor Percussion Ensemble
Be sure to get the registration information submitted before Thanksgiving break. The form can be accessed HERE.
Winter Guard Information
Winter Guard Auditions have started and will continue through Thursday, from 4:00 to 6:30, in the band room. Students need comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. We also encourage everyone to bring a friend!!!!

Region and All-State Jazz Audition Sign-ups
Sign-ups for the region and all-state jazz band auditions have ended. Students must be sure to initial the form in the band room to verify the correct information.
Monthly Band Fee Payments
Remember to make your monthly band fee payment. You can pay with cash, check, or money order, place it in an envelope with your child’s name and the payment, and then have your child drop it by the band office. You can also deduct it from your child’s BCP account by filling out the form HERE. Another option is to pay it electronically directly to the school by clicking HERE.
