All NHS Band Students are scheduled to attend a “Field Trip” on Monday to hear a performance from the U.S. Navy Fleet Brass Quintet. This is a remarkable opportunity for our students to hear a fantastic performance from some world-class musicians!
The performance will take place in the Rawlinson Road Middle School Auditorium on Monday, February 24, 2020, during the 4th block. Students received a field trip form that needs to be signed by parents/guardian and their 4th block teacher. Students will be off-campus attending the performance Monday afternoon.
If a band student is failing a 4th block course, are scheduled for a test/major assessment, etc… they may not attend the Navy concert and should instead attend their regularly scheduled 4th block.
On Monday, students will report to the band room at 1:45 PM from their 3rd block class or lunch, and depart to walk next door to RRMS at 1:55 PM. Students will return to campus at 3:25 PM.
PARENTS, PLEASE REVIEW AND SIGN THE PERMISSION FORM. STUDENTS SHOULD RETURN THIS FORM ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2020.
