The Northwestern Bands would like to invite you to attend their spring concerts on May 2ndand 7th. The Spring Jazz Gala will be Thursday, May 2nd, at 7:30 pm in the Band Room. It will feature trumpeter, composer, arranger, jazz didgeridoo player, recording and touring artist Mark Rapp performing with the Clinic Jazz Band as well as the Senior Jazz Ensemble.
The 9th and 10th Grade Concert Band and the Symphonic Band concert will be Tuesday, May 7th, at 7:30 pm in the auditorium. In addition to the two concert ensembles, chamber ensembles will perform selections that were prepared for the SCBDA Solo and Ensemble Assessments.
Both concerts are free and open to the public. Donations to our scholarship funds to help the students attend music camps and pursue private lessons will be accepted at the door.
