We are now ONE week away from our first major fundraiser of the winter season – the CWEA Premiere at Northwestern HS. This event on Saturday, February 2, 2019, showcases performances by many area winter guards from North Carolina and South Carolina.
WHY ARE WE TELLING YOU THIS & WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?
We need a significant workforce and hospitality donations from our band parents, guard parents, and students to make sure we can run this event in a manner that is professional, well-staffed and meets the very same high standards we demand of our students each day. Northwestern High School and our band program strive to provide meaningful educational opportunities for our students. Events like CWEA do just that while helping our organization earn additional funds through the sale of concessions, etc.
We use the profits from this event to provide and strengthen educational opportunities for ALL of our students in band and guard.

The Carolina Winter Ensemble Association exists to create a positive and rewarding performance experience for our youth and to develop a nurturing environment that will enhance the skills of the performers and instructors at all levels.
