Course Syllabus Contracts
Syllabus contracts for all students are now past due. Students in Honor Symphonic Band have an additional agreement form to sign and return. Students, please make sure these get turned in to the purple box as soon as possible.
For students joining the band for the second semester only, please return your signed handbook contract forms by Friday, January 19, 2019.
Volunteers & Hospitality Donations Needed for CWEA
The NHS Band Booster Club is hosting the Carolina Winter Ensemble Association Premiere North Event at Northwestern High School on February 2, 2019. This event is a MAJOR fundraiser for the entire program, and your help is much needed.

NHS Student To Attend USC Band Clinic
Congratulations to the following students for their selection to participate in the University of South Carolina Band Clinic in February. These students will join hundreds of other students from across the southeast to participate in a prestigious clinic held on the campus of USC Columbia.

REMIND Text Notification and Verizon Customers
Due to a new fee imposed by Verizon, Remind can no longer continue providing free text notifications for devices on the Verizon Wireless network. As a result, Verizon Wireless customers who use the free Remind service will not be able to receive or send text messages as of January 28, 2019.
This change, while we hope it is temporary, will affect your ability to receive text communications from the band if you are a Verizon customer. Please click here for more information.
Region Band Auditions – Delay in Results
The South Carolina Band Directors Association held region band auditions last Saturday. Because of an issue in Region 6 concerning inclement weather, the SCBDA is withholding all audition results until Region 6 auditions on January 26. All-State Band and All-State Jazz Band Auditions will now be on February 2, 2019, at Lexington High School. For more information, please click here to view a statement from the SCBDA.
