Mandatory Meeting & Chaperone Training

The members of the 2018 Purple Regiment are off to a great start! They are working hard and we are very proud of the work ethic we’ve seen thus far from the group! We also want to send a huge shout-out to our parent volunteers that have been assisting us this week fitting uniforms, providing additional supervision, and helping serve students during practice!

Two quick reminders/announcements from the band office…

  • Tanya Tucker will hold an additional Chaperone Training session from 1:30PM-2:30PM on Thursday, July 26 for any parent/guardian wishing to volunteer as a chaperone or pit crew this season. This is for folks who did not attend a previous training earlier this month. If you have any specific questions, please contact Mrs. Tucker directly via e-mail.
  • The mandatory meeting for parents and students is tomorrow evening (Thursday, July 26) in the the band room at 7PM. All 2018 band students will attend. We request that at least one parent/guardian for each band student attend this meeting. We have a lot of info to get out to you concerning next week’s band camp and the marching band season. We look forward to seeing you there!

Really sad to miss this big event but have two other grand dudes in their band concert at Dutchman Creek Middle School—same exact time.

Can't wait!
