The NHS Concert Band will perform at the South Carolina Band Director Association’s STATE CONCERT FESTIVAL on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:00AM at Irmo High School.
The band was accepted to perform at this prestigious event following a straight superior rating at our Concert Performance Assessment in March. Limited to only 18 ensembles, the event features many of South Carolina’s best high school concert bands performing music of serious artistic merit. All performances are held in Irmo High School’s Performing Arts Center and are free and open to the public. A schedule of performance times are available here.
The members of our concert band are working very hard in rehearsals in preparation for both our upcoming spring concert and the state festival. We are thrilled for this opportunity to perform and are proud of what our students have accomplished this semester!
